How to make a bookshelf out of a wooden pallet
There are numerous ways to make a bookshelf out of pretty much any type of wood. However, have you ever seen a bookshelf made out of a wooden pallet? Believe it or not, there are some beautiful bookshelves made out of wooden pallets.
Sure, you’re going to need some additional tools to bring the creation to life. You’re going to need a saw, some screws and whatever you decide on to hold it all together. I wouldn’t recommend putting your largest books on the shelf, but it’s a great place to store a few books and other small things. Once you finish building it, you get to stain or paint it!
Repurposing a wooden pallet into a new headboard
Headboards are, pretty much, a necessity. And they aren’t cheap. They help bring your bedroom together.. If you’re the DIY type, a new headboard made out of a few wooden pallets might just be a perfect Saturday project.
Unlike the bookshelves, the headboard should be sturdy. Pick out a few pallets that are in great shape, put them together to form that headboard and attach it to your box spring. You can get as creative as you want, but wooden pallets are perfect for a rustic looking headboard.
