The holidays are here and the staff at Ace Paint and Unfinished Furniture is in a joking mood. This week, just for laughs, we're posting these great paint fails we found on the Internet.
Man Can't Stop Laughing At Paint Covered Kids
This video is a great demonstration of one of the most important rules of paint storage: keep old paint cans away from 4 and 5 year old boys. Never store your paint cans in a location where your boys can build a staircase out of blocks to reach your old paint. If you have little boys in the house, you're probably better off getting rid of your extra paint and hoping you never need your old paint for touch-ups.
Not very long ago, we posted an article
about paint storage and disposal. In this blog post, we discussed proper methods for sealing the paint cans, conditions for paint storage, uses for old paint, information about paint recycling and more. Looking back on this piece, we've realized that this blog post, though authoritative, is incomplete. It makes no mention of keeping the paint away from little boys.
Benjamin Moore's Halloween Prank
As you may already know,
Ace Paint and Unfinished Furniture sells Benjamin Moore paint. We chose this brand because we only sell quality products, and Benjamin Moore meets our standards of excellence. Benjamin Moore paints come in an array of colors and the products are durable and enduring.
We also sell Benjamin Moore paints because the Benjamin Moore company makes awesome commercials at Halloween. In this video, Benjamin Moore hires real house painters to paint a wall alone at night in a "haunted" hotel. Hilarity ensues.
Man Sets His House on Fire by Trying to Kill a Spider With Spray Paint
This
article on Komo News
is about a man who either took a page from the book of Clark Griswold or Tim Taylor. This should go without saying, but spray paint is basically only meant to do one thing: spray paint. Spray paint is good for painting a chair, making a mural or completing a craft project.
It's really not meant to kill spiders. Using spray paint as a blow torch to kill bugs falls squarely in the "really bad idea" category--especially if you happen to be standing in your laundry room at the time.
A Family Gets Shot with 3,200 Paint Balls to Prove a Point
This entire video segment was created to prove a point about censorship and families and questionable content in movies, but the takeaway is that this family gets absolutely
covered in paint.
Speed Painter Fail (Almost)
This isn't really a fail. We included this video because it starts off looking like a fail and then it turns out to be the opposite. It's also really great entertainment.
So, what are your favorite paint fails? Maybe you have a YouTube link, or even some home movies to show off. Send us a link in the comments box.
